"Weeping Angel" work on progress of an angel artwork i started with 9/11 in mind, based on the sculpture by William Wetmore Story which serves as the grave stone of the artist and his wife at the Protestant Cemetery, Rome.
I used two references and put them together for this drawing one of myself and one of the statue from a different angle.
Because of my current moving situation i don't think i will finish this in time for the 9/11 memorial , i will try my best, but wanted to show you all the sketch and despite most of my art stuff being in boxes i'm still working on projects when i can especially pencil work which is easier to keep out and work on.
