The King of Pop Michael Jackson, passed away June 25 2009 at the age of 50.

Years ago i did a drawing of MJ you may have seen it in my scrap gallery here at DA.

I decided to do a new drawing of Michael Jackson in tribute and memory. A look he had in his earlier days and of course dressed as a king ,I loved his music, he will be dearly missed.

Pencils on 9x12 (with 1/2 border around ) bristol board 2009.

It has been reported Michael Jackson was a perfectionist when it came to his music and performances, i hope he would have liked what i did with his portrait.

:wow: this one is very very good. and to draw him as a king is a cool and fitting idea. i guess he really would like it.

His music was really great and his live was sad. I hope he will rest in peace. This is great drawing. One can feel your sadness somehow in that picture. Itt is actually him you draw but I got the impression that these are your eyes at least your feelings mirroring in his eyes. Great work. i love it.
