Hello Eveyone,Merry Christmas Happy Holidays to ALL !!
I have a very special ACEO to share with you completed
for Christmas, "Home for the Holidays"

I really put a lot of effort and work into this
little painting, and wanted to make it really special
in support for my friend's jenni's :iconastrals-stock: christmas contest .

Aceo 2'5X3'5 completed with Watercolor ,Colored Pencils &Acrylic on Arches 140 lb hotpress paper.

For anyone not familiar with ACEOS
this is what they stand for:
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". These cards have one main rule - they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card.

Hmm very lovely watercolors, she kinda reminds me to the red hood girl from the tale, very lovely artwork and emotive too! She's out in the snow and looking sad though :( that's a bit depressing. Nonetheless is a beautiful painting, keep it up and happy holidays :nod:

OMG that is my fav Christmas song! I love this picture. Though it fills me with sadness. When I was a child I watched a television movie or show or something where a child went out to sell things to get money for her family at Christmas and ended up freezing to death. Wow, it really messed me up, but this reminds me of it so much. Still, it is so strikingly beautiful!

The Little Match Stick Girl....it really was sad...Disney redid it on the Little Mermaid dvd as a short. Well done, but OMG so sad

This is so beautiful! I love her lantern. The stars are so sweet. She really looks like she's longing to be home.

reminded me of Little Red Riding Hood out to visit Grandma for Christmas. Maybe she's a little weary looking cuz of that big bad wolf that always seems to be lurking ;)

Yes, that was it! I only ever saw it once when I was little, in the 80's or possibly early 90's but such was the impact it made.
